Kevin Parker

Managing Partner

Kevin has over 35 years of investment experience. Kevin is responsible for all strategic and business aspects of the company. Prior to SICM, Kevin was a Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank for 10 years and the former Global Head of Deutsche Asset Management from 2004 - 2012. Kevin is an outspoken advocate for a global shift towards sustainability, identifying climate change as a megatrend in 2004. He is also the owner of Chateau Maris, named one of the five most environmentally friendly wineries in the world by Wine Spectator Magazine. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New York University.

Sonia Bhatnagar

Chief Financial Officer

Sonia overseas audit, financial reporting and tax obligations of the firm and its investment products. Sonia joined SICM in June 2014 as the Director of Finance and Fund Accounting. Prior to SICM she worked for Deutsche Asset Management's Hedge Fund, Fund of Funds and Private Equity Groups. Her past work experience includes working as the Controller of a Hedge Fund and Private Equity boutique and a global fund administrator. She started her career at Ernst & Young, holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from University of Delhi and an MBA from Monmouth University.

Jodie Jensen

Administrative Officer

Jodie is involved in all of the firm’s operational activities, including business development, database management and vendor relationships. She has over 20 years of experience supporting executives in various industries. Prior to joining SICM in 2013, Jodie worked at Goldman Sachs and Kimco Realty. Jodie studied business administration at Briarcliffe College.

George Parker

Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel

George manages operations at SICM in addition to serving as the firm’s Legal Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. George has over 20 years of experience in legal and investment roles. Prior to SICM, he was the Managing Partner of Green Partners, an investment firm focused on sustainable projects and technologies. Earlier in his career, George consulted at the in-house venture arm of a global pharmaceuticals company and worked as a corporate attorney in private practice in New York and San Francisco. George holds a JD from Washington University in St. Louis.

Steven Roberts

Director of Technology, Data Management & Analytics

Steven is responsible for the end-to-end design, development and management of SICM’s internal data systems.  His focus is on the firm’s alpha capture platform though he works closely with all areas of the business to meet their data needs.  Steven has been working with financial data systems since 2001 when he joined Deutsche Bank’s equity research analytics team.  Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster University.

Gary Spiropoulos

Director of Portfolio Construction, Risk & Analytics

Gary’s responsibilities include the research and development of investment strategies encompassing stock selection signals, portfolio risk management, ESG factors and trading which are all deployed in the portfolio construction and management process of current SICM funds as well as the creation and adoption of new funds.  Gary has over 24 years of investment experience. Prior to SICM, Gary was a Portfolio Manager at Deutsche Asset Management and a quantitative analyst at Deutsche Bank. Gary holds an Honours degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University.  He is a CFA Charterholder and a CPA.

Jean Thomas

Managing Consultant

Prior to SICM, Jean founded Quantitative Research Group (QRG), where he fostered a culture of curiosity as cornerstone to provide proven global equity models and turnkey portfolio solutions to institutional clients. Pioneering discoveries included first independent and commercially available Alpha Capture based product in 2011 and Earnings Prediction Model in 1998. Prior to QRG, Jean contributed in executive and senior investment management and research roles as Managing Director of Bridge Trading Company Inc. and Board Director of DAIS Group Inc., Vice President of ADP Brokerage Information Services Group, Board Member and Chief Administrative Officer of Templeton Quantitative Advisors, a hedge fund subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, and Vice President and IT head at Drexel Burnham Lambert's Quantitative Equity Research department. Jean holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business, M.S. in Computer Science from Pratt Institute, and a B.S. in Computer Science from City College of New York.
